New website design
I've changed it yet again. The last design was quite ugly, so much so that after I had redesigned it I hated it so much that I never published anything else on it. This new design is grounded in the idea that more is less. A simple, minimalist webpage with very little CSS and no JavaScript is exactly what I think the web needs in 2026. Most websites are simply vehicles for spreading information, and when the emphasis becomes more on the website rather than the information itself, I think we've forgotten what the main point of the web was and is today.
Some more features will likely have to be added as I do more on this site (code block styles, LaTeX rendering, etc.), but I will do my best to guarantee that this site stays true to its minimalist foundations.
I hope that this new design will motivate me to really try and put my thoughts, projects, and words out there. Even if no one reads what you write, the process of the writing in of itself is, in my opinion, quite meditative.
Lastly, for those interested in having a website style similar to this one, I didn't obfuscate the HTML or CSS on the site, so feel free to press Ctrl/Cmd + U and check out the design.
